Photo Gallery From Workshops & Farm Visits
A September 20, 2011 NGGA workshop, despite being held on a chilly day, was a great success! Thanks to Jack Lazor of Butterworks Farm in Westfield, VT for hosting the workshop and sharing his knowledge and vast experience with participants. We also had an unexpected guest speaker, Francis Angier, a WWII veteran who began growing grains in Addison county in 1952.
Check out photos from the Northwest Crops & Soils Program’s annual field day at Borderview Research Farm in Alburgh, VT. It was held on August 4th this year and well-attended by grain growers, dairy farmers, producers, policy-makers, and many others. Dr. Heather Darby and her team were there to present and answer questions about their research, as well as other guests and educators.
